I have been photographing professionally since 1988, and am currently the staff photographer for the Stowe Reporter, a weekly newspaper located in north-central Vermont. I work primarily with black and white film and prefer medium format for its clarity and smooth tonal gradation.

I am very interested in photographing visual and performing artists, both at rest and at work; people involved in manual labor and other tangible vocations; urban, village and rural life; natural and man-made landscapes.

I feel my strength is in my ability to make engaging and lasting images using strong composition and structural balance. I attempt to limit my influence on a subject in order to produce photographs which are an honest reflection of the scene at hand.
I am seeking editorial and commercial assignments and am willing to travel.
